Under moderate temperatures chain drives are very desireable and actually do the driving, the belt itself being used as a conveying medium only. For high temperature work where chain drive is desirable the belt is constructed with a chain of special heat resistant alloy. Practically any link chain or roller chain may be used.
Our Chain weave belts are constructed by attaching any of the chain listed below (From our Roller Series, Engineering Roller Series or Pintle Series) to the sides of any Audubon metal mesh Conveyor Belt.
Bars, angles, channels, rods, pipe or tubing may be passed through or attached to the spiral and fixed to the chain by means of chain accessories or by acting as pins of the chain. Edges, Dividers and Flights may also be added.
